Piers - Managing Director
Prior to joining Alpha Housing Services, Piers spent around 12 years within the financial sector. During this time he held a number of progressively senior positions becoming experienced in business finance, performance management, stakeholder development, and corporate affairs. The highlight of his time was being recognised by HRH Princess Anne with a prestigious award for his Leadership on the company’s fundraising ambitions. In 2014, Piers made the move to Alpha Housing Services and has relished the opportunity. Property has always been a real passion and, as an accredited IRPM landlord, being part of Alpha Housing Services team was the perfect fit.
Piers has strong family values. In 2015 he married, and enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends.
Giles - Property Manager
As the longest standing member of the team, Giles has been a Property Manager for over 20 years. Like Piers, Giles is also a professional Landlord and passionate about good property maintenance. Accredited through IRPM, Giles’ motivation comes from understanding the property and making it the best it can be. Unusually he has seen many sides of what it is like to manage leasehold property as he has lived in a flat, owns investment flats, owns ground rent investments and of course, manages leasehold blocks of flats. On a personal note, Giles has three growing children so that’s the future staffing needs for the business taken care of!
Emma - Maintenance Manager
Emma has worked in property lettings and property management for almost 10 years with a national company. 3 years ago she and her husband set up a successful development partnership renovating and selling property, which involves overseeing work and organising contractors and materials. Like Piers and Giles, Emma is also a landlady and has property in blocks of flats and an understanding of what people are looking for from a Block Management company. In Emma’s spare time she attends the local gym, goes for long walks with her Labrador and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jane - Accounts Administrator
Before joining Alpha Housing Services, Jane worked as Quality Manager for a Telehealth Company, and was responsible for personnel and training as well as maintaining all company records and auditing all processes and procedures, to adhere with the ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and MDD Annex II accreditation. Previously, Jane worked for a firm of Chartered Accountants, gaining considerable experience, with roles including that of company secretary, credit control, maintaining the internal company accounts and completing personal tax returns.
Gabby - Senior Office Administrator
Gabby has been a member of the Alpha Housing Services team for just over a year. In that year she has already completed a qualification in Business Administration and is going on to a higher level this year. As the first point of contact at the office, many of the client interactions are through Gabby and she relishes the variety of topics that come up in her day.
Nick - Trainee Maintenance Coordinator
Before joining Alpha Housing Services, Nick previously worked in Customer Services in the Catering Industry which has given him plenty of experience in being customer orientated. Nick has also spent time gaining a good foundation experience in grounds maintenance, so Alpha Housing Services became the right fit for him. In his spare time Nick plays a wide range of sports including rugby, football and cricket – so is definitely a very active member of the team.
